Broadley Rees Hogan congratulates Cottee Parker Architects for its role in the successful bid to transform Queens Wharf through “Destination Brisbane”.

Cottee Parker Architects has been a long standing client of Broadley Rees Hogan.

Partner, Craig Smith, said “we have worked with Cottee Parker for a long time, and underpinning our relationship is a mutual understanding that if you want to build something you need to have solid foundations. It is with some pride that we congratulate our client on its tremendous achievement”.

Destination Brisbane will deliver a “whole-of-precinct” vision which will activate and connect South Bank, the CBD and Queens Street Mall, by transforming the heritage Treasury casino buildings into a premium shopping experience and a new six-star Ritz Carlton hotel, and by building a new pedestrian bridge to South Bank with a new lyric theatre at QPAC.

Cottee Parker Architects said that the iconic architecture and public realm had been developed as a quintessentially Brisbane landmark, emphasising Brisbane’s unique subtropical climate, lifestyle, cityscape and heritage assets.

Destination Brisbane will bring tremendous opportunity and invigoration into the Brisbane city centre and beyond. Broadley Rees Hogan says it is a vote of confidence in the city and the businesses which underpin it. This is an exciting time for property, construction and business more generally, in a city that’s offering great opportunities. Broadley Rees Hogan is ideally positioned to assist business with its future expansion plans.
